Wannopee Lettuce Leaf was a trade name of the New Milford Pottery of CT. In 1901 they started the production of Majolica only for two years. The coloring agent was applied to the piece after the bisque firing making it sensitive to wear. This chartreuse bowl is a hard piece to find and with a few chips and cracks remains in quite good condition , with only minor paint loss.
