Vintage Italian Postmodern Model Brera F3 Floor Lamp by Achille Castiglioni for Flos, 1990s

The Brera F3 is the large floor lamp version from the Brera series from Flos after a design by Achille Castiglioni.

A very simple and elegant floor lamp in glass and chrome. The egg -shaped lamp body made of opal glass sits on a slim shaft made of chrome -plated metal. At the bottom, the shaft goes into a plate foot. The point of the transition is carried out with a visible joint. The chrome -plated plate foot is slightly curved. The cable outlet is fitted on the side. The foot is rubberized from below to protect the floor. The Brera standing lights are no longer produced and are accordingly rare.
The lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina on the foot. This piece has an attribution mark,
