Vintage Design
Julian Chichester founded his furniture design company in 1995, inspired by the classic shapes from the 19th and 20th centuries and adding his own unique twist through contemporary finishes and details. The University bookshelf features a slimline metal frame with a gilded finish, highlighting the sleek lines of the silhouette, while the wooden structure is covered in natural vellum. The base of the bookshelf features a cabinet, with sliding doors to conceal a shelf, opening with inset circular handles in a matching gilded finish. Two drawers with gold pulls sit above the cabinet offering additional storage. while a display shelf sits in the metal frame above.
