Mahogany USA factory made .pedestal ,it stands at 39″ by 18″ wide where the globe is in it’s carriage . It has tapperd wood work and brass appointments it spins ,rotates , adjusts to countless measurable angles all by design I will finish by saying technology is fantastic but there are certain things in life that you need to see touch and feel to really understand the concepts.
