Antique 1850’s Eastlake Walnut chair. Burled walnut insert on the header. Petite needle point upholstery. Construction is very solid with a very nice walnut finish. Seat and back rest needle point is excellent. Backside has some minor pulls, but still very good. Overall very good to excellent condition.

Four rungs of the ladder backs are connected to the uprights which are single poles from top to bottom, in turn connected in the middle to the seat and several stretchers below. Original rush seating adds a rustic, provincial charm. Handmade from solid oak for decades of enjoyment!
