Oval shaped leather chair, 1980’s.

This chair was designed by the Dutch maker Montis for the Seasons collection, not anymore in their collection. There were two types from these serie, one in red hues, and this one in blue-green. The chair is upholstered with thick leather in blue and green.
I have a written confirmation from Montis that this chair was made by them

Montis was founded in the mid-1970s, when Dutch designers developed a fresher, contemporary design language. One of the co-founders was Gerard van den Berg – Montis is Latin for ‘from The Mountain’.

Fantastic green Pinguin easy chair by Artifort. Original from the fifties. The organic shapes and the fresh color makes a great match with the color of the beech wood tapered legs. This edition can even be a nice addition with the later produced Pierre Paulin designs by the same company.
Dutch ‘Danish inspired’ fifties design, clearly influenced by the designs of Kofod Larsen and Hans Wegner.
Very good condition: recently restored completely by previous owner, so very little marks! Fantastic quality fabric with a nice ‘fifties’ feel and refined pattern.

Set of 2 Mid Century Easy Chairs produced by Teun van Zanten for Molinari in the 1970’s.

The chairs feature a stable tubular black frame with very comfortable black leather upholstery with organic shape. The chairs are foldable. They remain in a excellent condition with only normal signs of age and use.

Dimensions: 82cm h, 90ccm w and 72cm d, when folded they are 35cm deep.
