An excellent quality original Art Deco English silver plated and glass cocktail mixer with spoon, etched with a cockerel, by James Dixon Circa 1920. This pattern is rare and highly collectible. The cocktail shaker is more often seen but the mixer is rarely found. James Dixon was one of the great English silversmiths of the early 20th Century, renowned for creating good quality barware. Shaker illustrates various barware items in turquoise with yellow printed drink recipes for Whiskey Sour, Martini, Gin & Tonic, Vodka Collins, Bloody Mary, Hiball, Old Fashioned, Manhattan, Daiquiri, On the Rocks, Tom Collins and Bacardi.

Measures 9.75″ tall (including cap) x 3.75″ in diameter at the widest point.

All print is in excellent condition, the lid having some slight wear and signs of use. A nice shaker to add to any barware collection.

This item is vintage and has been previously loved so it will show signs of that.

This rare antique French Art Deco chrome wine bottle holder or pourer by French architect and designer Jacque Adnet (1900-1984) is circa 1940. The timeless and elegant design has a clean, minimalist form featuring an angled, triangular nickel stand made of cylindrical metal supports. The neck rest slides up and down adjusting for bottle shape and size.
