We are is delighted to offer for sale this lovely antique Mid Victorian metamorphic library steps chair in oak with period carvings to the back A very charming and highly collectable piece, designed as an at home library steps and reading chair, these are used to add a sense of grand occasion to a standard bookcase I don’t come across many that have this mid Victorian style carving to the back rest, it really adds a nice touch The finish is original, we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it, there will be age and use related patina marks here and there as you would expect Chair dimensions Height:- 82.5cm Width:- 41cm Depth:- 46.5cm Ladder dimensions Height:- 83.5cm Width:- 41cm Depth:- 62.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point.
