A fine quality Chinese hardwood melon-form stools, ideal as small drinks tables, each of the barrel form with inset circular top supported by semi-circular legs raised on a ring-form base with shaped feet.
Crafted in a beautiful rich colour and solid hardwood on the top & the legs; stunningly an ode to the quality of early Chinese craftsmanship.

Very Good condition, the wood is very well preserved and retains its beautiful colouring, there are no chips or scratches, there is some decay on the varnish & slight discolouring on the top as would be expected with a piece of this age.
