Vintage Design
Beautiful double-decker cabinet designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe. It comes from the ‘Made to Measure’ series that was produced in the Netherlands from the early 1950s to the mid-1960s.
with its diversity in height, colour and use of materials, this item reminds me of the playful kitchen units and multi-part cabinets that Le Corbusier designed in the late 1940s and early 1950s.
