Vintage Design
The collection includes tinted Oak and Cane Chair Mod. 464 and a pair of highback dining chairs designed by Hans Vollmer and a chair designed by Wilhelm Schmidt.
Prag-Rudniker Korbfabrikation started to collaborate in 1900 with many prominent architects and designers of the geometrical Viennese Secession, such as Josef Hoffmann, Koloman Moser, Otto Prut, and Josef Zotti thanks to contacts made by Hans Vollmer and William Schmidt, both students of Hoffmann.
Many products from that era are rare to find and have a great collectible value.
The chairs offered here for sale are all in beautiful original condition. There are no significant damages or defects. Few of the wear marks can be seen in the detailed photos.
The chairs have a very nice age related patina, especially on the cane parts.
The wooden frames are structurally without defects.
All parts are original, except for a few screws found on the bottom side of the seats.
