The boxes are entirely made of wood and are sturdy, and all boxes have small knobs as handles. When the hatch is folded down, there is a good depth and a good work surface for both laptop, crafts, sewing machine etc. .<\/p>\n<p>The lower part has four wide drawers and they too have a good depth and hold plenty of storage. The boxes are very stable and are completely wooden and fresh.
